On Wednesday, July 31, 2019, "Tsuruha Special Night Game (Professional Baseball Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters VS Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles)" was held at Hokkaido Sapporo Dome.
The 80 people who were selected from a total of approximately 2,000 applications had fun watching the game, going on a duck-out tour with Yutaka Takagi, presenting a bouquet of flowers, participating in a kids' starter, the first pitch ceremony, and playing ball kids.
After the bottom of the 5th inning, a YMCA dance was also held! I was impressed by how happy the children were to be able to get up close and personal with the players they admired.
