We set up donation boxes at each Tsuruha Group store and at each company's headquarters office, and made donations through related organizations.

Shopping bag charge Revenue donation

The Tsuruha Group is making efforts to donate the amount of sales revenue of plastic shopping bags from the charge for plastic shopping bags that started at each Tsuruha Group store from July 1, 2020, and to use it for support activities for children around the world in the future. increase. Wheelchair donation

Social contribution through medical and pharmaceutical research

We are working to contribute academically to the medical and pharmaceutical fields and improve medical services at pharmacies by conducting joint research and presentations between pharmacists of the Tsuruha Group and universities. Participating pharmacists are also able to demonstrate their abilities and improve their skills.

  • "Tsuruha Forest" Tree planting and tree-rearing activities (Tsuruha)
    We held an event to think about the relationship with nature through tree planting activities at "Tsuruha no Mori", which was set up in a corner of "Domin no Mori" in Tobetsu Town, Hokkaido, and making works using trees.
  • Health class "Let's become a medicine!" (Kusuri no Fukutaro)
    Using the holidays of dispensing pharmacies, we held an event for elementary school students to experience pharmacist work at pharmacies.
  • Certified Nutrition Care Station (Tsuruha Group Drug & Pharmacy West Japan)
    The Wants Iguchi Myojin store (Hiroshima Prefecture) is a "certified nutrition care station" certified by the Japan Dietetic Association, where registered dietitians provide dietary support such as nutrition consultations and menu preparation to support the health of the community.
  • Participation in "Relay for Life" (Lady Drug Store)
    We faced cancer throughout the region and participated in charity activities sponsored by the Japan Cancer Society with the aim of conquering cancer, and provided support activities to cancer patients and their families.
  • Citizen's running club "Smiley Angel" (Kyorindo Pharmacy)
    We operate a citizen running club based in Hamamatsu City and Shizuoka City, and contribute to the health promotion of the community. Founded in 2012, it currently has about 500 members.

Regional support activities

The Tsuruha Medical and Nursing Care Service Association, a non-profit organization, conducts a project to provide incentives to organizations that carry out local support activities. The purpose of this grant is to contribute to the promotion of local support activities by primarily providing incentives to active organizations such as public interest corporations, civic groups, and high school/university clubs.
